Leadership Camp Texas

Leadership Camp Texas is a 1-week summer camp to help boys entering 5th - 8th grades to develop into fine, hard-working and courageous men who can be leaders among their peers. Through cabin competitions, night games, Xtreme olympics, and many more LCT activities, the boys have a ton of fun while at the same time growing in manliness and virtue. The camp's full, well-balanced schedule is designed to motivate the boys to use their talents in order to lead and serve others while developing strong friendships.

Applications for LCT 2019 are now open! LCT will take place from Saturday, June 29 – Friday, July 5, 2019. LCT will take place at Stoney Creek Ranch in Columbus, TX. You can check out Stoney Creek's website to check out the facilities.

If you've benefitted from LCT activities as a camper, counselor or parent, please consider showing your support with an online donation.

SOLD OUT! SORRY! We are no longer accepting sign-ups for Dad’s Night.

Dad's Night at LCT 2019 begins on the last night of the camp and ends in the early afternoon on the last day of camp when everyone packs up and returns home.

PLEASE NOTE: Stoney Creek does not have accommodations for younger siblings who may attend Dad’s Night. If you plan to bring younger siblings for Dad’s Night you will need to find accommodations in nearby Columbus, TX.

This year, Dad's Night begins the evening of July 4th. That evening is when the highly anticipated LCT Talent Show will take place. Each cabin competes with a variety of prepared skits and performances. Dads can enjoy further camaraderie after LCT Talent Show and, of course, nighttime basketball matches that have been known to go on into the wee-hours.

The next day, July 5th, dad's will continue the LCT experience with the morning run, breakfast and mass followed by the finale of LCT - the great battle!

If you are attending, here is some important information:

  • Arrival Time on July 4: between 6-7PM

  • Departure Time on July 5: by 1:30pm

  • Dinner is not provided for dads on the arrival day, so please plan on having dinner before arriving at LCT. We suggest the Texas Star Cafe in New Ulm or any restaurant in Columbus.

  • You will be assigned an air-conditioned cabin where you will select a bunk, but you will need to bring a sleeping bag and towel for your use.

  • Dads are asked to take part in the LCT Talent Show. Please prepare 2-3 “dad jokes” to recite in-between skits.

  • If you not sleeping at LCT but are planning to have breakfast with the other dads on the morning after Dad’s Night, the cost is $10 per person. Cash is preferred.
